Public Administration


This sector comprises workplaces whose primary activities are governmental. This includes federal, provincial, regional or municipal levels of government. Activities include the enactment and judicial interpretation of laws and regulations, and the administration of programs, such as taxation, national defense, public order and safety, immigration services, foreign affairs and international assistance.  These workplaces may engage in a combination of governmental and non-governmental activities.
